If you have done your homework:
When you hear "free market," you don't think of Richard Nixon.
When you hear "limited government, low taxes, and a balanced budget," you know this is Raegan's PHILOSOPHY but NOT his practice.
When you hear communism, you know Soviet Russia was far from Karl Marx's philosophy.

The problem is that the other half the country hears "free market" and they think of Richard Nixon and his corporatism.
When they hear, limited government/low taxes, and they think of Raegan running up the deficit.
When they hear communism, they think of the failed USSR.

This is what will happen to us.
We should not applaud that Perry has stolen Ron Paul's talking points. Because if Perry (or anyone else on that stage last night) is elected with those talking points, we can expect Austrian economics to fail. The name will be soiled, just like Nixon soiled the idea of a free market. For people to believe in Austrian economics, we need an honest President who will accurately put the philosophy in place.

This is what makes Ron inifinitley more valuable than any other politician. (I would vote for an honest communist over Newt Gingrich.)
If you REALLY do want to see Austrian economics to succeed, you should realize that only Ron Paul can make this happen. Perry is only stealing Ron Paul's uniqueness, making his chances of winning slimmer.

Let's face the facts and stop-making excuses: Ron Paul bombed last night. Any coverage of it will only hurt us. He needs to prepare better for the next debate.

I don't concur that he "bombed" exactly, but then again it is very hard to excel when you are ignored or misdirected from the current question to a totally unrelated one as Ron was last night. However, your observation about the stolen talking points, on every occasion we can, we need to reinforce the fact that Dr Paul has had these positions for years and the usurpers are just some johnny come lately doing so for politics only, not conviction.
