On the air traffic control question Ron should have mentioned how Canada privatized it, now it costs less and it's safer than before.

GOT IT!! The fence was an analogy of all the mandates and regulations. Regulations and mandates keep people and capital out and regulations and mandates restrict US citizens. The fence was an innocent analogy.

great answers. the fence answer was good too. he mentioned the government tends in some situations try keep the wealth in the country. it's obviously a good answer and wealthy people will pay attention to it.

He was great as always but the focus was Perry and romney. Very tough two hours to watch.

ok i didnt get to see the debate live, sister had her baby :) but many here saying Ron did poor is just incorrect, I thought he did really great. That last answer was a bang! to go out on. The problem I see with this debate is the media, Ron didnt get much time, look at the questions designed to make Ron look heartless but Ron did well on addressing that on the last question.

Excellent answers. Great appearance. Transcribed quotes will sound great. And I'm thinking 13 minutes out of two hours is pretty close to equal time. I'm thinking Santorum, Cain and Bachmann surely got less.

I only watched the Paul highlights, and I really don't see how what the derogatory criticism is about. Yes he made some rather explosive statements, but definitely qualified them. What I liked most about his performance tonight was that he was direct and concise, he didn't get hysterical or high pitched, but rather made his points in the piss-poor amount of time they gave him.

Congrats on your sister's baby! Yeah, I was almost afraid to listen to this, after reading all the poor RPF press. I hear Perry didn't do that well. How did Romney do in comparison to Perry? It would seem that if Romney made Perry look bad, the support he (Perry) shed would more likely go to Paul or back to Bachmann. It will be interesting to see if MB makes a bit of a recovery if that's the case.

Paul was skipped over a lot during this debate, in a manner very reminiscent of 2007-8, and it led to his statements being very dense as he had to rush to get his points out in the time allotted to him. In the last section of the debate Perry and Romney get asked questions three times each, usually with follow-ups, Paul only once, and Paul didn't get to respond to Santorum's direct 'isolationism' attack on him. In one way, not answering him was good, as the current neocon/MSM strategy is to avoid having a so-called first tier candidate engage Paul, and leaving it to the Santorums to do so, so as not to 'elevate' Paul.

Always keep in mind most regular people and likely voters didn't watch the debate, nor will they be watching most of the cable chows and debates covering the primary campaign. GET THE WORD OUT about Paul locally, and hope the campaign puts out commercials that thoughtfully combat the media's soft blackout of Paul.

Things got interesting again, Perry will flop and lose his lead . Politicians are know to jib jab and give non answers, the guy was unable to give any clear and to the point answer in part of debate I watched. I predict field will become wide open again and Perry will lose the lead he started with.
Horrible debate questions approved by msnbc's neocon owners. Paul did well I think but he was not asked meaningful questions on issues he champions. Debate was a wash overall.

im really hoping in the future RP will tell everyone his active duty military donations for 2008 and this election, its never been mentioned by him in these debates and is definitely a great eye opener.

His final answer was his best one of the night, imo.
