I am trying to organize a group from New Jersey to bus down to Washington, DC for this conference and straw poll (likely the Saturday of the conference; it would be an all day Saturday trip, no overnight). Info on this conference can be found at: http://www.valuesvotersummit.org/

Thanks, I will and I will create meetup's for it as well. My concern isn't willingness of supporters, but the fact that they need to come up with $99 for tickets to the event. I am surprised the campaign doesn't find this one paramount like some other straw polls. I have a reservation for a 15 passenger van rental and I hope to fill it with South-Jerseyian Ron Paul supporters, or possible more...

The deadline of 9/20 was a soft deadline and it has been extended indefinitely as of right now. Also, those (like myself) who can only attend on Saturday due to work and plan to make a drivable day trip out of it, you can buy a $75 Saturday Only ticket and still vote in the straw poll (as per the rep I talked to at the VVS).

Also, this rep confirmed that Ron Paul will be speaking on Saturday of the conference weekend.
