Tell us your MeetUp/grassroots war stories for today.

I'll be honest, I took the day off. I've been emailing for the Iowa mail student campaign, but needed a day of rest and figured today was as good as any to just relax and get recharged for what should be an inspiring week!

So what did you do?

Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures or vids today. Next time I will, however. I got a power inverter for my car (plugs into the cigarette lighter) that offers an AC outlet. I took my old unused guitar amp and strapped it to the top of my car. I found an old radio shack microphone and plugged it in. I strapped RON PAUL yard signs all over my car. Then me and a fellow Ron Paul supporter hit the road.

Every grocery store in the area. Every department store parking lot. We were there. I must have said RonPaul2008.com four hundred times. People loved it. Lots of cheers. TRY THIS IN YOUR AREA... just make sure you check local noise ordinances and be respectful of private property owners who ask you to stop. Most of the time the occasional roll through the parking lot will not annoy them too much, I wouldn't do it more than twice a week though.

Tacked "WHO IS RON PAUL?" signs near several of the most traffic-heavy intersections in my city.

I drove around Nashua NH with Brooke from the Nashua meetup group. She went door to door, and I jotted down info.

I've been searching for, consuming, and evangelizing Ron Paul content.

All.

Day.

Just waiting until 12:01, then I'm going to max out my contirubutions.

Then I may sit back and watch the money come in for the first hour.

I emailed a decent amount of people to promote 11/5. I also used TechnoRob's script to email 24 facebook supporters. Then, I emailed a few web sites that excluded Dr. Paul from their list of choices in polls.

Nothing outside the computer, though.

Drove an hour out to the Dickies 500 to help out at the Ron Paul booth. Walked around passing out slim jims and telling people about Ron Paul and handing out Ron Paul for president balloons to little kids.

A lot of work really.

Our meetup had a table at a flea market which I helped man.

Tomorrow is a Local GOP Dinner event.

Hung a revolution banner up on a fence, sent out an email to my email list regarding nov 5th, went to Gold's Gym where i work out and spamed every locker with a liberty card, told every person i spoke with on the phone today to google ron paul (even 2 telemarketers that called me today), plastered up about 25 bumper stickers around town and watched end game which was scary.

I snail mailed every Libertarian, Independent and Non-Partisan voter in my precinct asking them to consider changing party affiliation in support of RP in the primaries, and to support me as a precinct deligate in the Nevada caucus.
