That's a big part of why this domain is so ridiculous. If a porn website's going to use a domain used by a .com, the owner of the .com more than likely already has their name trademarked. It's not like a company can use Youtube.xxx as a porn site - it'd be an open-close case of trademark infringement.

One of the arguments in favor of this domain could be so porn sites can easily be blocked by filters - but since porn company's have no reason to switch from the widest-used .com domain, it's a pointless scam as is, and will very likely end up part of a dangerous law to force anyone hosting pornographic content to be forced onto a .xxx domain or face ICE takedowns. The Obama admin. has been so ridiculously liberal with anti-liberal web censorship, I can't really see this going anywhere else. All they have to do is search Ronpaulforums for "Anti-Federalist" and the forum's domain'll be revoked with a huge ICE criminal porn warning replacing it.
