This is an article from 2002.... This is a must-read for any Ron Paul supporter to get smart on economics! It's long, and includes a lot of numbers, but it outlays the financial bubble that was created in the '90s.

In summary, for those too lazy or without enough time to read this, the author cites how the federal reserve manipulates the world market by the deliberate devaluing/overvaluing of the dollar, and the historical struggle for capitalist countries to control the market, and how this eventually resulted in the militarism to control the market place. He cites the economic/world conditions (in 2002) being aligned with those between 1870 and 1913, and how this gave rise to wars and a move towards socialism. This is mind-blowing, given the fact that he was right about war and about socialism. HOLY CRAP!

Please read if you're interested!

"It is simply impossible to determine the state of a system outside of active intervention in it—and in the sphere of politics.

The perspective of socialist revolution was able to win mass support in the working class. Under what conditions? The eruption of imperialist antagonisms and, ultimately, war—associated with the first epoch of globalisation from 1870 to 1913, and the period of profound disequilibrium that followed. Our perspective, in the second epoch of globalisation, is based on these historical experiences."
