See that?

Also, Ron Paul Graphs has the time on the top left:

last updated: 11/04/07 06:54 PM EST

When that hits midnight, THAT's when you should donate (the earliest by). No soon.er

There's obviously something else at play here. The surge started at 6 PM EST and was for at least $7,000 or so. Some kind of co-ordinated effort. No e-mail from the campaign. I don't think I know of any other bombs that were planned.

Someone else posted an email that someone sent to their subscribers about Ron Paul. It said to donate tomorrow, but wasn't explicit about the 11/5 bomb. Possible this drove some donations today.

Naraku
11-04-2007, 06:14 PM
November 5th has already started in Europe, Asia, and Oceania. Who knows how many military boys overseas are part of this too, so it's probably them and they aren't donating early where they are.

It could also be people trying to boost Paul's numbers to make November 5th big, I remember someone talking about getting it up to $2.8 million before November 5th so it could get to $5 million on November 5th.

How dare those people donate to Ron Paul! Someone must stop them immediately!

the reason why people are already donating now is because from Australia to Europe it is already past midnight and where the count down used to be on the 5th of November page say donate now!

How about: Americans abroad :D

If it's just Americans Abroad that are donating their 11/5 funds, then we should be at a good pace when the clock strikes midnight in the continental US!

However, as much as I'd like to believe all these donations are AA folks, I'm looking at the widget and all the most recent donators are coming from places like TX, OH, NJ, CT, CA, NY, etc. I would probably have to second ACJohn up above in thinking that we might have some "premature edonation" (classic!).

Just for reference, the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombs (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atomic_bombings_of_Hiroshima_and_Nagasaki) were fission bombs, and were not hydrogen (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hydrogen_bomb) bombs (the first of which was detonated in 1952 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ivy_Mike)).

That was a Uranium fission bomb for the first one and a Plutonium fission on the second one. H-Bombs weren't invented until about 10 years later by Edwin Teller.
But you are correct that fusion can be explosive under the right conditions. Fortunately for us, those conditions don't exist in the Sun, otherwise we would all be vaporized. :D
