Economic predictions by free-market economists on stimulus stimulus + QE?

So I'm having an argument with a Keyenesian on the state of the economy, i'm trying to show that free-market economists predicted that QE, money printing and government stimulus wouldn't work to get us out of economic doldroms. Can anyone help me find some concrete predictions about this?
