As you all know Governor Jan Brewer of Arizona pretends to be an advocate of state rights when she rams legislation such as "SB1070" into law. Its ironic considering that private prison lobbyists influenced Governor Brewer to pass SB1070 which was an attempt to strip citizens of the 4th amendment among other things unconstitutional. As you probably already know Governor Brewer (GOP phoney) masquerades as a "state rights" advocate.Well that cannot be further than the truth, after Arizona recently passed a law to make medical marijuana legal in the state of Arizona ,Jan Brewer has openly railed against it and called on the power of the federal government to put an end to the legalized marijuana. Hypocrite Jan Brewer not only declared she had the right to do things such as pass SB1070 under the 10th amendment, she now declares that the people of the state of Arizona cannot have medical marijuana because she says so and will bring in the federal government. "Arpaio: Medical marijuana will not be returned" says the title of this article:

PHOENIX - If you're a card-carrying marijuana user and arrested by Maricopa County deputies for any criminal violation, Sheriff Joe Arpaio has a message: you won't be getting your product back after jail release.

A policy decision made by Arpaio also details how police will be required to store medical marijuana in their own property rooms should they bring in suspects who are in possession, as it is regarded as contraband in county jails.

While some legal rulings in other states may eventually force MCSO deputies to return medical marijuana to card-carrying users as they leave jail, thus far no local judge has ruled accordingly.

"Possession of marijuana is still a federal felony as far I am aware and my deputies aren't going to violate federal law," said Arpaio in a news release.

Hypocrite Jan Brewer in May 2011 motions to freeze "medical marijuana" which just passed in Arizona (apparently shes not happy about what Arizona wants)

Arpaio is a real piece of authoritarian scum. Glad I live in Colorado where we don't have to deal with as much stupidity as those other four-corner states do. Good stuff here.

Kokesh did a great segment on medical marijuana that backs conservatives into a corner: if you oppose it, you don't support the troops

Brewer and arpaio are typical of so many so called "conservatives" who say they are for freedom and state's rights. They are liars and very much into big government. I would never live in AZ.

yet doctors can prescribe drugs that are a hell of a lot more powerful and addictive than marijuana. As my sister lay dying from ovarian cancer at 42, one of her last wishes was to smoke pot again with an old childhood friend. The friend came in from out of state and had to illegally obtain it from a dangerous area in NYC, risking arrest and harm to herself in order to fulfill my sister's dying wish. As far as I'm concerned a dying person can smoke or drink or shoot up whatever they want.

When I think of Brewer, I always have to think of the debate she had last year. I reckon Bush and her did a lot of coke back in the day.

Phoenix is more corrupt than DC. Remember that 1% sales tax increase pimped to keep from cutting school funding? Most of it never got out of Phoenix... Tom Horne also has no business representing the state.
