Tomorrow is just a dress rehearsal.

The 12/15 and 12/16 weekend Money Bomb will dwarf tomorrows take.

12/15 - Bill of Rights Day
12/16 - Boston Tea Party

Suggestion for New Englanders>>

Have a big rally at the scene of the actual tea party. have laptops ready for partygoers to chip in right then and there..

Alert the media in advance..make this something really special

I doubt it, but another big day surely isn't looked down upon. We need all of the money we can get it.

I believe these events realy work because it gets people caught up in the emotion of donating at same time as so many others...

I may just get swept away tomorrow and drop $200 instead of the $120 that I'm planning

Maybe set the target donation lower, and try to get more people? How about a $20 minimum, and shoot for 50,000 donors? Or a $50 minimum, and 20,000 donors? Either way it would be a million in two days.

That might sound low compared to the November 5th goal of ten million, but will be a lot easier to exceed the goal.

Why don't we wait and see how tomorrow goes before planning another event like this?

These events only work if they increase the total amount donated. At this point we don't know if this event will excite people to donate who otherwise wouldn't have and/or excite people to donate more than they otherwise would have. Let's see what happens and use what we learn to plan future events.

In any case, the next fundraising goal shouldn't be over a month away.

90,000 pounds of tea worth 10,000 pounds sterling from 342 containers were dumped into the harbor during the Boston Tea Party.

According to one of those historical value sites, 10,000 pounds sterling from 1773 is the equivalent (in 2006 values) to 914,292.39 pounds sterling.

That amount of pounds sterling at today's exchange rate is $1,909,410.11.

Do with those numbers what you will.

December 16th. Remember the Boston Tea Party. After the huge success of November 5th, we know beyond a shadow of a doubt that the support is there.

December 16th. Let's make this the day we overthrow corrupt Government and a corrupt Mainstream Media.

Let's end this once and for all and blow the other GOP candidates out of the water.

This is a perfect day. About a month away. Perfect timing to get more meetup members and supporters. Also to save up money.
