Looks like we have another case of the media pumping a completely unvetted presidential candidate.

John Huntsman! John Huntsman!?... Huntsman got 69 votes. If all of John Huntsmans supporters showed up to the same (Ames, Iowa) Quizznos... the fire marshall would say -- yeah, that's fine, there is still some seats open in the back.

By that I mean... they polled for Cain and Bachmann, but not Paul, who is consistently ahead of both of them in the national polls.

Where the HELL is Paul in this poll??? Time to fill their email boxes?

I predict that Hannity will have Rasmussen on one of his shows today to push this thing, fits their narrative perfectly.

Rasmussen doesn't poll all the matchups on the same day. Consider it this way, RP was the first one to get polled 2 weeks ago.
But yeah, if the next poll out of Rasmussen doesn't include RP, man the guns.

Great news, the more Republicans can beat Obama, the better.

One is a strong, pro-free market Republican governor of a large and prosperous state and the other is a big government Democratic president with a disastrous economic record.

All the others are polled and the results released the same day so they are discussed together then Rassmussen releases the head to head between Obama and Ron separately, and it gets little media coverage

This is totally bizarre. Other pollsters show Perry as the LEAST electable against Obama.

Because there is a difference between Perry and Obama? LOL

At least from his rhetoric, he would be a lot better on domestic issues than Obama. But it sounds like he would be equally bad on foreign policy issues.

Looks like Ron Paul is more electable than all except Perry...for now.

I agree...I think that there should be more opposing voices on this forum that we can engage in debate and such.

It seems that Perry is the media's candidate. I haven't seen much of anything bad from the media about Perry...

Pretty pissed about this poll. No other pollster is showing Perry as the most electable. This is just a ploy to further boost Perry's numbers.

I agree it's a bit of a "redstate" move to ban him. Oh well. Not my call.

Not "just like that". he had a long history of antagonizing posts and even bragged about his -Rep.

It seems that Perry is the media's candidate.

He was promoted as a "front runner" before he was even in the race.
He jumped to the top after losing at Ames. (even after they changed the rules just for him)

His only good sound bytes are ones he stole from Ron.

He is another Obama with an "R".

OK, time to man the guns. This is getting ridiculous. Rasmussen last polled Paul against Obama 8/16. Since then, Bachmann, Huntsman, Perry, Palin, and Romeny (like 4 times). WTF?

Perry, really? You mean the guy that in 10 years as Governor doubled the size of the Texas budget, tripled its debt and added 48,800 state jobs?
