Because SC is where Perry needs his first win.

Iowa will be Bachmann or Paul. New Hampshire will be Romney or Paul. Nevada will be Paul or Romney, maybe Bachmann.

South Carolina is in Perry's court.

That add is kinda of sucky... what about his illegal immigration stances, his forced vaccination stances, his texas trans corridor stances etc..? SO much to nab him on - in addition to the spendy.. but I'd go deeper and hit harder. Perry is a jerkoff.

Gotta take him down with spending as Gov 1st and crimp his tea party support. Can only fit so much into 30 secs, the rest can come later.

I like the ad. The goal of it is to cut into his Tea Party support by exposing his big government spending.

At first I thought the ad sucked - but then I remembered that this would be news to most Perry supporters ... the topic is the important thing, not the delivery in this case.
I'm kind of glad Bachmann's supporters are doing this - save us the trouble and I still doubt she'll get much support out of it. Meanwhile we can focus on IA, NH and NV.
