at about 10 a.m to 11 a.m sunday, in the middle and western half of Massachusetts, downed tress triggered a firecracker zapping of nearly all of NATIONAL GRID's and N*STAR's transformers. some folks are still without power, the electric companies had to get new shipments of transformers. our ultilities are either monopolies or semi-monopolies. curiously enough. talk about angry customers...
