Does Ron Paul support amnesty? Sending all illegal immigrants back to their country of origin? Or something in between?

Does Ron Paul support amnesty? Sending all illegal immigrants back to their country of origin? Or something in between? Ron Paul does not support amnesty. Ron Paul does know that the current immigration process is a corrupt and unfair system.I don't think Ron Paul would deport them because it would cost way too much money and a lot of unconstitutional procedures. Getting rid of the entitlements would deter the incentives of illegal immigration. Ending the "War on Drugs" would also deter illegal immigration. A deep seeded societal problem has arisen along the border because it not only has to do with migrations, it has to do with genocide by the drug cartels .30,000 mexican citizens were butchered last year by drug cartels. Zeta cartels were created by the u.s. navy seals training and now they run the biggest operations in northern Mexico butchering anyone in their way. I actually believe ending the war on drugs then destroying the cartels at the border cities would be just as vital to ending illegal immigration as ending entitlements is.Unfortunately it is the U.S. Government which has produced violence at the border, and has perpetuated the entitlement system. It needs to end.

Are there any quotes from Ron about this?

He has a chapter in Liberty Defined about this. He's against amnesty, but he's also against deportation. Ultimately, he lays out policy that, while detailing that illegal immigrants shouldn't have access to welfare and taxpayer services, would fit in his 1988 stance that "anyone willing to come here to work should be welcomed".

Something in between.

Ron Paul does not demonize illegal aliens or call them criminals because he knows most of them are non-violent and have come up here to work. He knows that a lot of their problems come from our government meddling in the government of Mexico, including destroying their Constitution when NAFTA was passed which was what caused the exodus of illegal aliens to come up here in the last couple of decades. Millions were kicked off of their once Constitutionally protected land that they had farmed and subsisted for generations and had nowhere to go.

He doesn't support amnesty because they would allow them to vote and partake in services that they didn't pay for. He wants to see increased legal immigration with checks and balances to keep out violent criminals as well as a better worker visa program.

He believes in protecting the borders and removing government services for illegals.
