According to http://ronpaul2008.typepad.com/ron_paul_2008/2007/06/new_video_enthu.html:

Tonight, Congressman Paul will be a guest on the Colbert Report. Tomorrow evening, Congressman Paul will speak to the National Taxpayers Union convention in Washington, D.C. The following day, he will address the National Right to Life convention in Kansas City. He then travels to Phoenix to speak before the Arizona Republican Assembly on Saturday.

so, I doubt it.

Our local meetup has been contacted by the campaign to help organize a rally. So it sounds confirmed to me. Google has been hosting a lot of candidates, so this isn't that big of a surprise.

Perhaps some clarity is in order. Silicone Valley refers to the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles, where famous female celebrities get their breasts enhanced.

Silicon Valley is the home of Google and is considered breadbasket of the high tech industry.
