It's not that great when you think about it.

$2 million is all we have to show for this quarter so far. Say the next moneybomb brings in another 2. Then the end of quarter push brings in another 2 if we're lucky.

6 million. Perry has, supposedly, already raised 20 million. There's no telling how much Romney and others have raised.

There was the 600K from the ready for ames moneybomb. Romney tapped out his contributions. Perry will need the money he is stupid and is just getting started.

That's the best part about it. Ron can do with 4 Million what takes the others 20 Million and he will still have some left over.

Ticker started on Aug 20th. At that point, we had already had a 600k moneybomb and some other days in between. So it's really closer to 3 million already.

This is so damn true, because the others have to play damage control, Ron Paul doesn't have to, Ron Paul is so damn clean, you can eat off his record.

But imagine what he could do with 20 million.

You're not taking into consideration off-line donations, as well as RevPac donations.

And the ticker itself shows we crossed $2 million last night.

Give some perspective. Q3 of 2007 we raised something like 5 million and Gulliani had raised the most with something like 11 Million. Our fundraising didn't really get big until Q4 2007. Q2 of 2007 we raised 2.5mil, and Q2 of 2011 we raised 4.5mil, despite the race taking a much slower start than it did last time. We're probably on track to raise ~8mil this quarter, which will put us in a very good place.

Off-line donations, yes. RevPac donations don't count toward the campaign total. It's the campaign's money that really matters. Without the campaign, this movement dies. I don't care who you are, the campaign is the most important place to put your money where your mouth is. I'm not scolding you, just saying.

True. But the media will report that, for example, "Ron Paul raised 6 million dollars, plus 2 from his SuperPac"

So, in the 30-second sound byte world we live in, people will hear the overall total.

But yes I agree with you Paul, the campaign is first but for those maxed out donors RevPac is HUGE
