Well looks like its time for me to put my Ron Paul T-Shirt on. OH! Had it on already. Good idea with Saturdays. My Ron Paul shirt does not fit into the Business Casual category.

You should almost take your camera with you when you go out to events Alexa. Be interesting to hear other people talking to you about Ron Paul.

Alexa,
You have several attributes that give you the potential to sway many voters. You are an attractive, articulate, and ambitious young voter who appears very comfortable in front of a camera and you come across as quite educated regarding the issues. I think that if you create a video blog, posting videos on a regular basis to youtube to educate young voters about Ron Paul, you will be able to influence many of them to vote for Paul. There may be other outlets as well, but certainly getting onto youtube and getting popular there is probably most important since on the RonPaul friendly websites, you will essentially be preaching to the choir. You may need to look this up, but look up some of the videos of Bree in the Lonelygirl15 video blogs (that may be before your time so you may need to look it up) which was extremely successful by putting a young woman in front of a camera and just letting her talk about her expierences. I think you have the potential to get a large following like she did (though you would be non-fiction instead of being fictional) by being real about not only Ron Paul, but about your experiences and interactions with other students, the campaign, trying to sway other young people, etc.
The audience that will pay attention to you are the college-aged voters and I suggest you address your videos to them and discuss the issues that are important to that demographic. Maybe Young Americans for Liberty would have some resources for you too. Anyway, I think you have the potential to really educate a lot of young voters about Paul and I encourage you to take the time and effort to do so.

Finally ordered a blue RP Constitution t-shirt and two bumper stickers today. And I'm barely making above minimum payments on my credit card.

I'm looking at it as an investment. RP will save me money some day!

Great videos Alexa. I love your enthusiasm!

I was wondering if you have twitter or whether you've made a facebook page along with your YouTube channel? It would help to promote this idea.

I just sent the following email to Kurt Nimmo, the editor of Infowars.com. I know some people have reservations about Alex Jones, but his audience and influence on internet trends is quite massive. Figured it couldn't hurt to try:

Mr. Nimmo,

I am contacting you in hopes that you could provide some much needed coverage and attact followers to a particular Ron Paul supporter who is trying to increase her visability on the internet with the goal of spreading Ron Paul's messages and helping the grassroots cause.

I believe she could have a similiar if not greater impact than the "Obama Girl". In addition to being beautiful, Alexa is intelligent, well-spoken, and comfortable on camera.

Please don't take my word for it, and check out her youtube videos: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hKqAUvBbE_U&feature=player_embedded

With the help of Infowars.com, Alexa will be able to reach millions and help spread the message of Liberty. A single concerted Google-bomb could make Alexa a permanent fixture on the internet landscape.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

If anything RP needs to rid himself of the Alex Jones connection. He already has that part of his base locked down.

Actually, she reminds me of Rachel.

Yes, but he will help her go viral, which will then help her be seen by everyone.

Saturday works better for most folks, as she said in her videos :) My main job is pretty casual, but the dress code does prohibit political shirts of any kind. I am sure there are lots of others who have similar clauses.

I wear Ron Paul shirts in a nice rotation when I go jogging or climbing, and have been talking to my neighbors about Ron's policies and the like for a little over a year at this location. Reactions have grown increasingly positive as more stuff Ron says is proven to be true. Neighbors generally ridiculed some of his comments initially, but seeing those "fringe" comments about the Fed, the economy, being overextended in a variety of wars, unnecessary Government agencies... seeing it all come to pass makes you take another look at that "kooky old man" in the corner.

I guess if we're going to get this train back on the tracks, I would add that the tee shirt is not enough. You have to be able to coherently explain who Ron Paul is, and what his stand is on the issues that are most important to your audience. Barring that, you need to have some materials or at least a website to leave with the person so they can do their own research.

There is a reason most people in the media are attractive, and why the phrase "you have a great face for radio" exists.

That said, and back on topic, wear your Ron Paul t-shirt whatever day works for you and as often as you can. :)

Before Michaels Arts & Craft Store took a huge dive in being micromanaged in 2007 employees had no dress code and I use to wear the yellow Ron Paul revolution shirt all the time at work LOL. I dont work there anymore though and since 2007 they forced employees to dress like grocery store employees.I even got made fun of once, but Im sure they arent laughing now ;D about how much I told everybody about Ron Paul.
