I was trying to respond to this quote from the original thread, but I think this topic deserves it's own thread.

Many great videos from that list, there are truly some inspiring individuals that are willing to stand out in support.

The Iowa Straw Poll-AMAZING!

im actually studying right now for the part 2 of the 'We The People' video, im trying to get a vibe of the trend and resistance we get from non Ron Paul supporters. So right now I'm studying why they support other candidates and why not ron paul. The focus of the second video won't be about supporters. We've squashed that in the first video. It's not about why big government or corporations doesn't support Ron Paul, it's about why We the PEOPLE do not support him.

If we put ourselves in the shoes of let's say a perry supporter, would we watch pro Ron Paul videos? So that attitude goes the other way arround too. None of his supporters will open their eyes and see the truth, because for some reason they like him for something he's done.

So this is what we're up against, and not in particular to perry supporters, infact it's not about rick perry, its the reverse. it's the rejection to Ron Paul. So the question then becomes why do some people not want to support Ron Paul. And when we find answers to that question phase 1 is complete! (just kidding). But if there was a phase 2, it would then be to present Ron Paul's argument.

No matter how bad or unconventional Ron Paul's answer is to them, if you dig deep enough there is always a reason and a truth as to why he believes what he believes. And I think his conviction will speak to them. And show them that he is a reasonable man. That it's okay to vote for him because he won't just do whatever they're afraid he's gonna do in a reckless way. And I think this is the biggest thing that people are afraid of. But when you listen to his videos he's actually very reasonable and understanding to what people are concerned about.

SO! If you guys and gals could post what people are afraid of and why people are afraid of him.

One thing I think is that deep down, a lot of people actually want a politician that cuts deals and switches views depending on public opinion. They feel that such a politician is "responsive" and "listens to them." They are afraid of someone who is principled, because they fear that a person like that is "rigid" and an "ideologue."

They don't realize that one big thing Ron Paul is famous for in his district is impeccable constituent services. He actually IS responsive and DOES listen to people.

Hit on foreign policy. That is a big misnomer among Republicans. So Vets, other gov't officials in favor of non-interventionism (scheuer) (or at least people who say current foreign policy is folly), etc. We have all the FOX and talk radio talking heads pounding it into everyone's heads in favor of the empire, so it's an uphill battle. Those being filled with propaganda just don't see the folly in it, which is tough to break through years and years of indoctrination/brainwashing/propaganda. So many people say, I love everything about Ron Paul, except his foreign policy. Gotta tear down that wall... somehow.

I agree that foreign policy is a good topic to touch on. Below I have picked some of what I think would be good videos to use material from when compiling a video. But I don't have any experience putting these vids together, so not sure if I will be much help with it.

On some videos I bookmarked a certain timestamp, but the entire videos are worth watching.

Ron Paul - The Revolution & The Anti-War Movement
Paul's "What if..." questions is powerful. At 5m28s Couldn't find the source video, this one has music.

Quotes
"A departure from principle in one instance, becomes a precedent for a second, that second for a third, and so on, till the bulk of society is reduced to be mere automatons of misery, to have no sensibilities left but for sinning and suffering."

“To preserve our independence, we must not let our rulers load us with perpetual debt. We must make our selection between economy and liberty or profusion and servitude."

“If we run into such debts as that, we must be taxed in our meat and in our drink, in our necessaries and our comforts, in our labors and our amusements, for our callings and our creeds, as the people of England are." -Thomas Jefferson

"It's not a place, it's a dream. It's not a social contract, it's an ideal. It's not a group of people, but people of certain character. It's not a collective of exceptional-ism, but the results of exceptional individuals" - Unknown (copied it down one night, can't remember where i saw it)

"You put together a cause based on ethics, and people will rally. There will be those who stand around to point our imagined hypocrisies, hidden flaws, or to simply vent a diffident cynicism, but people will rally to an ethical cause." -LoneTree

Thanks for the links. Yeah it helps alot. All I'm doing right now is watching alot of his videos to try and get some depth and turn it into something that's easy to understand. I got a huge post from dailypaul site, about 100 things people are afraid of. They're very short one liners tho.

Regarding the quotes I'm not sure yet if I'll be using any.
