I just got the Nov. 12th issue of Time. Page 42 and 43. The article is by Joel Stein. The beginning of the last paragraph says "Paul doesn't expect that he will win the nomination..." Anyone know if there is any truth to this? Or is it just a bias thing again?

This "Joel Stein" apparently hates Ron Paul. He was on the news yesterday and opened by saying that Ron Paul supporters "Oh their crazy!" He went on to say we were "9/11 truthers", "nerds", and "anarchists". He made it a point to imply we were ugly. And of course in the article you mention he indirectly refers to us as "crabgrass". Clearly this man is a stereotypical bully, and frankly I hope the worst of him. He acted as the "cool college dood" (very unprofessional and a complete joke) while making fun of the 'silly' Ron Paul "nerds" on MSNBC.

Needless to say, I wrote him an email. However, I should also write and call Time magazine until he makes a statement about his behavior. I recommend you do the same.

I should mention that this has already been discussed extensively on several forums and hopefully a moderator will move this to the "negative press" section.

You're right.. it should be moved. I didn't even know there was a negative press section until you mentioned it. My apologies.
Regardless... the guys obviously a turd, and hopefully he was at least somewhat responsible by not attributing it as a quote, but the implication that the good doctor said he didn't expect to win the nomination is enough to piss me off.

When mainstream media makes statements like this that are ABSOLUTE LIES that are also transparent efforts to influence the election, this is election tampering and the act of a traitor. I am not kidding. What is more traitorous than purposeful lies to deliver an election to authoritarians? Tell me.

Some lawyer should get together with the Ron Paul campaign and immediately send letters of accusation with demands the malicious election tampering attempts are BOLDLY retracted (admitted and apologized-for in a MORE PROMINENT forum than the original transgression). Lacking an immediate agreement to do this, legal actions should be taken against the perpetrator and the companys that print and broadcasts the lies. And I do NOT mean "only civil" action. I mean demands to the appropriate federal and state criminal agencies demanding immediate inditement for fraud, election tampering and traitorous acts.

Because, UNDERSTAND THIS. These people KNOW VERY CLEARLY that the damage they cause CANNOT be rectified. Once the [primary] election is over, the damage CANNOT be undone. The USA becomes authoritarian tyranny and the game is permanently over.

Obviously these comments do not apply to marginal cases. But we are seeing overt, bald-face lies become COMMONPLACE concerning Ron Paul, and the campaign must put its foot down in the most aggressive way --- or they will get worse and worse as the days go by.

This is extremely important. Please, someone in the campaign respond to this.

Add libel to the list of things to sue for... When they are making false statements with intent to harm someone's earning potential or reputation, then there def. is a cause of action.

In the Tucker interview, Stein didn't come across as very professional. In fact, he looked and sounded stoned. Just my opinion...

When I saw Joel Stein on the Tucker video, I almost couldn't bear to watch it.

I've been around the block a couple times, and I can tell from just looking at him, that he's a jerk.

And that's from a female perspective.

Time Magazine is owned by Zionists, so it's no surprise that they would bash Paul. Just like all the other Zionist controlled Media that has Israel's best interests at heart as opposed to ours. Mainstream Media is such a joke.

to tell the truth Stein is probably cutting his teeth in conversation with the rest of his liberal reporter buddies....

The leftists are scared to death of Paul because they know how deadly LIBERTY is to their socialist goals of "utopia" via STATISM.

Our real problem is the most of America is stupid people that are happy to slap the shackles on their own wrists...especially if a "hip" dude like our man stein thinks it is not "nerdy" to wear them.

This seems to be the typical "journalist" doing articles on Dr. Paul. They will write an article and butcher his policy positions. Also I guess in journalism school the basic questions of Who What Where When have been added to. Now there is a required "no chance to win" caveat to be placed in any article or news story involving Dr. Paul.

Joel stein is a little fudgepacker. RP has said many times that his goal is to win, hes just another little turd like Stephanopolous.

Stein is another puppet shill on the take. CFR member too, and since that group has already publicly announced themselves as traitors to our nation (except not in those words), he's a traitor.

Unfortunately we're too civilized now, so we need to put up with people like him for now. Sometimes I wish we lived in old revolutionary times and we could round them up for some good old fashioned hangings. :D

There is a certain stoicism to Ron Paul, and I would agree that he does not expect to win the nomination. He's the kind of guy that likes to be pleased with good news, not disappointed with thwarted high hopes. Think about what he has faced for 30 years.

Yes, but if HE does not even think he can win, no one else will either! In my opinion, he really needs to start talking, acting and yes, even dressing, like he's going to be the next President of the United States.

I agree with that statement 100 percent. He has the nomination and the election in the bag, if he steps up to the plate. It is funny, because as is so often mentioned here, he's been getting the dunce treatment for thirty years so you can't really expect some sort of major personality change to take place over night (and think about it, would you really be happy if it did).

But yea, just like anything, he's got to learn to assume the sale. Relax and just accept it as fact, move on and let everyone else follow (they've already begun doing so anyway).
