The RNC is emailing out an online straw poll (obviously to get some money) and they make it seems as if you have to donate to the RNC to get to vote, but you only have to donate to "See the results", so please go out and vote for Ron Paul. Just select Donate Other Amount and leave it as zero filled "0.00"

Here are the top results thus far:

Candidate Votes Percentage
Rick Perry 767 36 %
Ron Paul 245 11 %
Mitt Romney 243 11 %
Michele Bachmann 181 8 %
Herman Cain 155 7 %
Write-In 155 7 %
Sarah Palin 140 7 %

***For those of you against donating to the RNC or any political party group, as I am, I would like to set your mind at ease; I donated $0.01 to see the results, which likely costs them $1.10 to process. :D

We need to get RNC on our side. Don't piss them off. I will send them a buck.

Let's say that Ron Paul gets the nomination like we all believe he will if we work hard enough... It's not a bad thing for the RNC to have funds.

Now, I'm not saying we should moneybomb them... But perhaps, if you vote in this poll, you could throw 'em a buck. It's probably a long shot, but if they see enough $1 donations, they might think they could get more if Paul wins.

(Yeah, probably a lot of wishful thinking in this post, but we shouldn't hurt the party we're hoping to win.)
