I think that is where she's going. Whether she announces are not is irrelevant. It's the TEA Party hijack duo to stymie Ron Paul. This was just mentioned by AJ, and I think he's 100% correct. This is the only way they can win is if they take away the mundane TEA party/conservative bandwagoners. It something that we need to start FUD'ding for now.

And kill any chance Perry had to become president.

And kill any chance Perry had to become president.

Or is that vice-versa?

And kill any chance Perry had to become president.

Why not?

The system is decidedly against one term presidents.

Better to have one puppet for eight years.

It's too difficult to keep up the charade.

It's Ron or O-bomb-ya in 2012.

Jesus himself could be Perry's VP and he would lose.

A Palin/Perry ticket is the media's wet dream. Wait for it......

I agree, just commenting.

Perry cannot name his VP until he is the nominee. And that is IF he is the nominee.

This is what I've been expecting ever since she endorsed him for govenor.

Don't you know? He talked about succesion once!

Foxnews and hosts like Beck have been dropping hints about Perry for years now. It is so obvious that he was their pre-ordained star child that they had strategically wait to enter race as not to peak too soon. The efforts that the MSM went through to protect him from Medina was a dead give away that this was going to be their guy.

They are setting it up to be Perry/Bachman or Perry/Palin. If those two do not work they still have Romney/Palin or Romney/Bachman as insurance. This keeps enough Neocons in the media narrative and in position to keep Ron Paul at bay.

If this is true, then Palin is no better than her daughter :D

Palin has too many negatives, and she was on the losing ticket last time.

If Perry were to be the GOP candidate, expect Pawlenty, Paul Ryan or Marco Rubio to be on the VP short list. Herman Cain also would have a slim chance.

Palin would become the tag-on VP choice each go around.

That seems like bad politics to me.

His shortlist is supposedly McDonnell, Christie, and Rubio.

No way Palin becomes second fiddle again. It's either the top spot or nothing for her.

No doubt McDonnell would like to be there too. Christie just doesn't seem like the VP type, but you never know.

Perry's chances of beating Obama are already slim-to-none just because, like it or not, most voters will look at him and see W. Bush....plus he won't be getting the real conservative vote because he's a liberal.

On top of that I don't think he brings in that many independents, and any ticket with Palin on it is automatically unelectable.
