also i suggest you donate kinda early will give others the incentive to make it grow as big as possible if they are seeing huge numbers, plus we don't want to all wait till the bitter end and crash the site as its had problems in the past

I subscribed, but then unsubscribed last week because I won't be able to make the full $100 donation (though I do plan to make some kind of donation that day). I wanted the number of signups to be reflected accurately and I hope I'm not the only one who went and unsubscribed if they couldn't toss in the whole $100.

For the sake of simplicity, I'm guessing the people who did not subscribe but are donating will mostly make up for the people who signed up but won't donate, so I think the number of listed subscribers is the best guess for how much money will be made.

I am personally going to donate shortly after midnight (EST as I live in Forida). However I had a thought, why could not the PST, MST, & CST not start donating at 9pm, 10pm, & 11pm respectivley. Love to hear feedback and us to promote.

I want to shock the media so badly, that brian williams, tim russert, the fox ilk, et al pee on themselves. Right now it's lookin' like a 2million dollar day. I think it's going to be dramatically more then that. The media thinks based on current pledges that it'll be around 1.5 million. If this thing blows up, they will not know what to say. So, no if you're going to give more then$100, keep your pledge to one, and then let the shock set in tomorrow.
