Say he's elected president. What's the worst that could happen? Be specific.

Good article to frame and address people's concern and gauge their responses.

1. Multiple power vacuums after troop withdrawal.
2. Unguageable reaction of current power elite as their bailouts are ended
That's enough to get scared about....

Nothing that compares to how much another 4 years of Obama / 8 years of Perry scare me.

Now on to the comments.

Remember people, if someone tries dragging you down the hole of defending libertarian positions when you argue for Ron Paul, just point out what really are Ron Paul's main positions of securing the nation by bringing the troops home and restoring the economy. Any extreme idea they might throw at you won't even get through both the House and Senate, so there's no need to worry about what Ron Paul would do.

And if they say Ron Paul won't be able to sign into law the things he wants, it's actually much more important that he vetoes things like corporate bailouts and Patriot Acts.

For an article like this to be written, it really says something about how close we are getting to the prize.

Gotta love how the media spins people's opinions. It went from voting to end wars, to now voting to keep wars.

I wish Dr. Paul would make this clear during debates/interviews. IMO he spends way too much time talking about a scary (to most people) philosophical agenda that has zero chance of actually being implemented even if he were President.

But the consequence of overstretched military, intervention in the affairs of others, national debt and destruction of the dollar are worse.

I agree!
