But the deeply wired Boston Globe, invaluable for Vineyard gossip, caught up with Freeman at an event later in the day.
“What I wanted to tell him is to get pissed off, get fighting mad,” the actor told the paper. “But I know he won’t because he doesn’t think it’s politically smart.”
On Obama’s chances for reelection, Freeman added, “If I could vote for him 1,000 times, I would.”
“I think he’s been horribly sandbagged, and it makes me so angry,” he said.

LOLOLOL! I guess folks around here will quit pimping Morgan Freeman just because he said "Don't call me black" on 60 minutes.

Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. This is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked...

Wow. An actor who supports Obama? No way...
Here's something not shocking: 90% of actors, musicians, and athletes support Obama. Don't think it needs a thread for each one and I don't think it has nearly as big an impact as people think.
Even people who like Morgan Freeman aren't going to change their vote because of it.

That's because they're all limousine liberals who live in fantasy land.

Yeah, its just something that they use so they can show that they "care about people" to make themselves feel better. Nothing more.

Hey Morgan, how 'bout you work off some of that aggression by making yourself cannon fodder in Iraq or Afghanistan on behalf of your Nobel Peace Prize president?
Morgan: Get me some work!
Manager: Sorry, Morgan. The consumer sector is looking bad and people aren't spending as much as they used to.
Morgan: What sector is good?
Manager: Government.
Morgan: Im an actor. Government doesn't hire too many actors and Obama didn't like my 60 Minute interview.
Manager: Maybe you could get on his good side by attacking someone on behalf of him. Then he could give some under the table tax cuts to a movie studio to hire you.
Morgan: Yeah......How about: “If I could vote for him 1,000 times, I would.” and “I think he’s been horribly sandbagged, and it makes me so angry?”
Manager: That sounds great.

Darn, I didn't know Morgan Freeman supported endless war... but I guess he does.
Can't support Obama without supporting his wars.
There is only one choice to vote for if you are against the ~6 wars we are engaged in, and his name is in our URL.

I think more people on this forum should watch "Inside the Actors Studio" to understand how close minded these actors are. Also, Freeman says his favorite film he did was "Glory". That's all I'm saying.

The client is a Saudi billionaire from Beverly Hills. I don't think money is his issue. He has these guys over to parties at his digs. heh. I had to look up Geoffrey Holder. I am a science/art/computer nerd since childhood. I never kept track of actors and the like often only knowing their characters name from the movie. Yeah..classic voice. I may mention him.

How ironic that Morgan Freeman portrays Lucious Fox (capitalist with libertarian views).

Hell. I wish Obama would have gotten pissed off and fighting mad about some things also- such as bringing troops home and ending DEA raids, among others. Not because I care about his political fortunes but because I care about my fellow citizens/humans.

He never intended to do either of those things. His agenda is the opposite of those things. He is a warmonger.

Not true with the athlete bit, but you are right about actors and musicians. Basketball is about 90% for Obama. Football around 60%. Baseball around 40%. NASCAR around 5%. Who cares about Hockey. It is around even.

He wants the dear leader to get mad and get tough with the evil, racist teabaggers. I have heard this refrain from many different media figures and academics.
These people are insane.

I don't call him a puppet because doing that kind of exempts him from the full responsibility of his horrible crimes. He needs to dear full responsibility for all the viciousness of his disgusting regime.
