3 months ago I started working on a Ron Paul door-to-door campaign application for the Iphone and other devices. This project stalled, but support has been renewed for the application. If a couple more people are willing to help it seems like we will have a good team to get this project ready in the coming months.

If you have any programming experience please e-mail me at thetranscendent@gmail.com if you would like to volunteer your time and help make an application possible.

Lastly, an important aspect of the application is going to be demographic information, so if you have any connection to the campaign and know how we could get that information, please e-mail me at thetranscendent@gmail.com

Here are a couple topics where this was discussed when I had the original idea.

Feel free to post suggestions for the app here as well. And if you know anyone that is a programmer (and Ron Paul fan), please e-mail him this link to see if he is interested at all.

Wouldn't a wap website be easier? Maybe I'm wrong.

If it is a application then it allows for iphone/ipads/ect to be used where there is no internet connection. Being able to download it would seemingly make a Ron Paul's transition from the internet to a doorstep much more seamless. Creating a mobile friendly website has also been talked about, but as of now that is not the direction that has been chosen. A professional app developer has offered to work full time on this (if enough support is shown), so I figure if we have the tools we should use them.

And Btw, if it hasn't been mentioned of course this would be for many mobile devices, the Iphone is just the easiest to say in a topic title
