VIVA LA LEMONISTA'S

Yes, fellow r3volutionaries, we just got our collectives tails handed to us by a bunch of kneebiters - at least as far as media coverage goes. I dare say we just might have raised a bit more than they did, however.

This event was an incredible success - big awareness raiser as to over-regulation and enforcement, huge push back, Adam and crew got arrested again, world record set and tons of youngsters got a taste of "small business".

What can we learn from this?
Longer lead time w/ single focus
Human interest factor
New holiday
excellent and massive lead up w/ tons of youtube vids
very distributed effort with simultaneous local events that were deemed newsworthy picked up tons of local news coverage and a fair amount of national news coverage.
What else?

We should hire the Lemonista's to do the PR for the next money bomb :D

According to a report from the Heritage Foundation entitled “Red Tape Rising: Obama’s Torrent of New Regulation” (Oct. 16, 2010), “[T]otal regulatory costs [to business] amount to about $1.75 trillion annually, nearly twice as much as all individual income taxes collected last year.”

There are soo many articles about this it's overwhelming! I thought it was just going to be 6-8 links and I'd be done. I was WRONG! So I'm going to let you search for yourself. The magazine articles and blogs are found more with a Google web search more than a Google news search.

Perhaps Paul could do a news spot, glass of lemonade in hand and toast the lemonista's for their media prowess and congratulate them for trouncing us on media coverage. Mention free market imitative and American tradition, etc too.

He might also say something like: I knew my message really resonated with the young people, but I didn't know how young till now!

This would do two things:

Highlight the media blackout and bias without being confrontational

Provide an excellent lead in to talk about over regulation and enforcement and how it's a job killer.

Tie the keywords lemonade and moneybomb together on news aggregater searches, and lemonade is a hot term today.
