Why do neocons focus so much on the lack of freedom in the Middle East?

Because the United States is the beacon for freedom and it's our responsibility to spread it to these poor people who don't seem to want to revolt themselves against an oppressive government. If you don't support that, then you don't support the troops, you're a liberal, and you're un-American. This is why we have to invade the democracy of Iran and why we support the military dictatorship of Pakistan. For freedom!!!!!!!!!!
