I was just looking over a few things before tonight's appearence. I noticed that Comedy Central is stating RP is a libertarian candidate.

Should we be concerned? Should we make an effort to change this? Ideas?

This is really disappointing for Colbert. I mean his "people" tend to be too smart to make this kind of mistake.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. The media hardly gets anything correct to begin with...what's one more mistake? :)

I don't think it matters too much, once people search for Ron Paul on google or whatever.

I would not worry too much. I bet this will come up in the interview.

I agree. I wonder if it was done on purpose. I mean, comedy central has made a laughing stock out of the GOP. Jon Stewart and Colbert have assisted. I wonder if they are labeling him that so that their viewers arn't so quickly turned off. just a thought. But it still pisses me off.

If I remember correctly, Jon Stewart had the same thing on his web page when he interviewed Dr. Paul. It turned out to be a wonderful interview. I think we should leave it alone

It does say (R-TX) beside his name.

I'm sure that 'truthiness (http://wordie.org/people/John?wl=2733)' entails a certain amount of fact-gathering, and proper editing!
