I think the media is finally beginning to understand the concept of blowback.

Rick Perry is next to last, but only because he just entered the race. Gingrich is ahead of Bachmann, and Pawlenty and Huntsman are ahead of Paul in coverage so far this year.

Here is Paul Mulshine's reasoning for Ron Paul being ignored:

Let me offer my expert opinion as someone who will have been in the news racket for 37 years as of next month.

The TV talking heads are not prejudiced against Paul. They are not-so-bright people marketing their shows to even stupider people. Thus they look for topics and people easily understood....

As for the print reporters, they are pack animals, as are their editors. They follow the TV reporters.

Imagine a reporter decided to file a think-piece on Paul. First off, he'd have to think. A knowledge of American history might be needed to understand Paul's views. Lacking that knowledge, he shies away...

Then of course there are the lowest bottom-feeders of them all, the bought-and-paid-for pitchmen of talk radio. These guys say things for money. Therefore Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin, Sean Hannity and the rest have to pretend that Paul does not exist. Talking about him would upset the people who pull their strings, so he is not talked about.

Even though it is obvious, it is good to have the evidence on hand. The survey is more than helpful in proving the Ron Paul grassroots' point. People will not simply take our word for it.
