Shit, did anyone catch those poll results they accidentally showed for a split second? It had Ron Paul in 3rd with 14%, ahead of Michele Bachmann at 10%. Would that have been the recent Magellan Strategies poll from NH?

Aliangel
08-19-2011, 07:41 AM
wow....they just asked him the perry sex question..he said its silly quesiton and how it can be asked on national TV like this. He said insignifacant things dont take too much of their time.

Amazing how they were looking for the sound bite (Obama vacation), looked uncomfortable with Ron Paul giving a direct answer to the underlying issues.

GREAT interview!!

"Ask me in 2 weeks", ROFLMAO, He really downplayed his potential significance.

oh CRAP, they actually used the stupid ad from some jackass in Texas. NICE!

I don't know how that qualifies as a question on a National news. You're giving it too much credence.. This is hardly Presidential.

They will not drop the stupid ad questioning. What a piece of crap that was.

Ron Paul handled that beautifully!

They tried the sex ad question again at the end trying to get a gotcha, but Ron nailed the answer twice.

Wow, the exchange between the reporter and Ron on the ad subject was like that of a child conversing with an adult.

Ron's maturity really showed in his response, and I agree that the MSM is at fault for even trying to give it credibility.

Hopefully that reporter learned a little bit about how adults behave.

Yes, it is obvious that Ron Paul is the ONLY ADULT running in the race since he refuses to even waste his time thinking about nonsense like the Perry sex add, which is nothing but a distraction from the problems that the country and the world face.

Thank you Ron Paul, for so eloquently demonstrating why you are the adult in the race.

What would president Paul do to reassure concerned Americans?
Tell the truth.

How would you fix the economy?
Address the source of the problems.

What do you think of Perry's NH poll numbers?
Ask me again in 2 weeks when it really matters.

What do you make of this Ron Paul supporter sex ad?
I make nothing of it nor should I worry myself and monitor every actions my supporters do.

Fox "what do you think of this sex ad?"

Dr. Paul "Well I think its ridiculous that you are even asking such a question on a national news program and giving credibility to something so insignificant."

Fox "Ok enough of that. Tell us more about this sex ad."

Not actual quotes, just my summary.

Amazing display of clarity, honesty, confidence, and maturity. I felt like I just watched a grandfather counseling a granddaughter.

Perfect response to the ad. I never heard about the ad till Sean Hannity brought up on radio, this is the second time I heard about it. Its obvious nobody cares except the far right media telling it to people who don't care!

For Ron Paul interviews, this was about as aggressive as I've seen. In a small segment he

1) Implied the President is lying to the American people (and blew off the asinine vacation "issue);
2) Implied that Rick Perry is a flash in the pan candidate who's record will hurt him in due course;
3) More or less stated that the "sex ad" discussion was both non-Presidential and even beneath Fox News to carry.

Boom boom goes the dynamite!

Ron Paul OWNED this interview!!!

I have to say it's one of his VERY BEST I've seen. He was rested, eloquent, didn't stumble, very firm pushing back against the anchor, and expressed himself simply and effectively! Excellent.

Knowing Martha Maccallum's demeanor, I actually found her to be quite fair and noticeably interested in what Ron Paul had to say. Now that RP is getting real traction and is un-ignorable, many in the media are beginning to see him as a most intriguing curiosity, worthy of respect.

The question of the sex ad had to be asked (it's been discussed on many networks); and I believe Maccallum was genuinely inspired by Ron Paul's answer. She did us a favor by allowing Ron Paul to contain the news story before it spread out of control.

It was a great interview for Ron Paul and Maccallum alike. Go Martha! Go Ron Paul!

+1

No matter the lady's motivation, that's how RP should have responded.

1) The campaign had nothing to do with the ad. (we know that, but most viewers don't so he needs to state the obvious)

2) He does not approve of the ad.

3) He cannot possibly police the actions of millions of supporters.

4) Not would he want to; it's a free country. (optional)

He said more or less the same thing, but he used different words that sounded a bit angry and evasive.

Like Carlson bringing prostitutes to a press conference of Ron's to endorse him to 'get attention'. Maybe Morrow is one of those who only liked Ron until Gary came in, some of the people following Gary seem viscous. (Not Gary, himself.)

Thanks so much for posting the youtube. I'm in portugal right now with a very slow internet connection, and basically paid for this connection so I could monitor how things are going in the campaign. I have significant capital invested in multiple grassroots projects. Its tough to stay up on Ron Paul news when you are outside of the states, but thanks for Ron Paul forums, I don't need to spend much time online googling.

I think Ron did a very nice job in this interview. I just wish he would plug tomorrow's moneybomb!!!! argh!

So...

Who wants to donate some money to Rick Perry's campaign and then run some billboards asking HAVE YOU EVER HAD SEX WITH MITT ROMNEY, AND IF SO WERE HIS UNDERGARMENTS REALLY MAGICAL?

Because seriously, the idea that somebody who donated money to Ron (something anybody can do) and then ran a STUPID ad is somehow a story, or should somehow be linked to the campaign, is beyond asinine.
