I was perusing cross tabs of the latest NH poll and we have a similar pattern to recent CNN poll. Where Ron Paul does great with younger crowd and males and doing horribly with people 65+.

The age gap can be attributed to the fact that it is likely that a lot of 65+ are not very internet savy and consume their news from TV and papers.

Here is a favorability ratings from x-tabs.

Men: 42.5 (45 unfav)
Wom: 35.5 (48.5 unfav)
18-34: 56.1 (35 unfav)
35-44: 44.8 (46.1 unfav)
45-54: 41.3 (43.3 unfav)
55-64: 39.8 (44.4)
65+ : 29.6 (54.8 unfav)

Ron Paul is in 2nd among people 18-44 and males 18-54.

......18-34 35-44 65+ men 18-54
Mitt 36.9 38.2 44.7 31.8
Paul 27.9 19.2 8 21.2
Perry 14.5 13.3 18.6 18.4

If only we can improve our numbers with 65+ and the ladies, the race would change dramatically!

Most people think im joking, but the easiest converts and the people who actually listen to what you have to say the most are seniors. Especially seniors in assisted homes with lots of time on their hands. They appreciate your visits as well. We should be holding Senior Home Q&As around the whole country.

wow that's actually a very, very good idea i've never heard mentioned before. organize event at assisted living facilities. only question is: do people who live in assisted living environments have the ability to GOTV? serious question...

The only way you guys can get into one of those places with open arms is if you go to do some volunteering as a group and passed out some custom-made-for-seniors slim jims/flyers while you're there.

Basically we need people that vote and don't get on the internet.

If a valid pollster offered "internet usage" in the crosstab, I'm sure we'd see interesting results.

For the seasoned citizens say, "Isn't it about time we had an old person in the White House?"

For the seasoned citizens say, "Isn't it about time we had an old person in the White House?"

Uh, no.

And who is everyone calling "seasoned"? Sixty five year olds? Do you guys remember how old RP is? These people are not in the grave. Many are going to be worried about keeping their Social Security, so it needs to be pointed out that it is Ron Paul who has a plan that will ensure that SS will be there for them. Since many grew up in the era of the Cold War, I would imagine it would be helpful to make clear that RP is very strong on national defense, etc. It would probably be a good thing to work on the points in the forum, so that no one is not just talking stream of consciousness.
