Because when I look at it, it only says about 24,000 people are waiting to reply and 2,350 attending and 410 maybe attending and 1,500 not attending..

That doesn't add up to 450,000.....

You can invite an unlimited number of people to events, but you can only invite 100 people at a time. Once you invite the first 100 people, you can then start inviting more. In addition, you can only have 300 pending invites at one time for an event. (see Facebook Help.)

So he's not allowed to invite all the people who have 'liked' his page? Can't whoever is running that page just continuously invite people until they have invited all 450,000?

I've been wondering the same thing. At the very least, officially "sharing" the event couple a times would be wise, just as a reminder. The only notification I have seen on my feed was the "Ron Paul created an event." notification this past Monday night with a link to the money bomb event.
