I've been watching the Bachmann and Paul facebook 'likes' numbers and just 1 week ago there was a difference of about 8,000 likes in Bachmann's favor. We are closing in FAST. Paul is gaining thousands of supporters a day on Facebook. As of right now during this post here is what we have:

Bachmann: 461,314
Paul: 460,636

I have no doubt that by midnight tonight Paul will be ahead. This media blackout and Jon Stewart attention is HUGE.

She was able to jump a head of us when she first declared her intentions to run. It seems to me like her popularity or "flavor of the month" appeal is starting to peak and will begin to decline.

IMO, the earlier that candidates enter the GOP race the better for us. It allows that initial bump of popularity to level out, and it allows the people proper time to uncover their history.

We've eclipsed her!

Also, regarding "flavors of the week", just wait until Palin and Paul Ryan enter...

Any insight on if we are picking up her supporters here? We need information on what attracted them and how to capitalize on this shift!

Agreed. It's also worth noting we have had the fastest Facebook growth of any candidate running.

The campaign REALLY needs to utilize the facebook and twitter account better, especially since Ron isnt on TV as much.
I believe it to be imperative.

About time!

I think it was a big part but the debate and Ames translated instantly on line. Ron was trending on twitter during Ames, and was in the top 5 google search for a big part of the few days after the debate, given Ames was right after. The three together were helpful.

Yeah, but the president is different. McCain is kinda pathetic given he was the party nominee.....

Sarah is both popular and has her own show, as does Huck, so you get a different factor there, but she'd be high anyhow. She, not McCain, got the nominee bump.
