If this is some variation of a repost, I'm sorry, I did search a little! Just figured we need to tap into either the apolitical or democratic youth. Get them to register republican.

Kinda had an Idea myself, okay here it goes..........

You have seen that dos equis commercial with the 'most interesting man in the world' guy right?

Well have him or a look a like say " I don't always vote republican, but when I do I prefer Ron Paul"

Any other ideas?

Probably a lot of the a-political people are in fact just apathetic. The Jon Stewart video exposing the media bias could be an asset. Ron Paul is the candidate who is hated by the establishment. He is an a-politician.

What we really need to do is tap into the elderly demographic. We have lots of young, energetic people which is a huge benefit, however, the elderly really get out there and vote. Unfortunately, that requires boots on the ground.

If your interested in appealing to the apolitical or democratic youth (being a former democrat) I would say if you could somehow squeeze this video down to 60 seconds or two minutes if the air time allows and have the original creator update it for 2012. I know first hand that this video turned many democrat and independent activists to start thinking about Ron Paul. I don't know anyone that doesn't like an underdog story.

I'm all for it. VA primaries are in March. I have a lot of down time in the winter and will be going door to door. I'm gonna have to get the voter info again, as the last person i had who was gonna help me make sense of it (I'm not a computer person) bailed on me. Should I target democrats and urge them to register republican like I did? Or republican supervoters? Or should I try and convert dems early and then focus on the older gop voters closer to the election?

I really wish there was some people in my area who would want to help. I'm not much of the leader type persay, but hell, no ones doin anything around here so i think I'm gonna have to step up myself!
