Alright guys. We are getting some heavy media coverage (ironically, about our lack of coverage) this week. Time to quit complaining about the media.
We lost by a hair to Michele Bachmann at Ames. She had big time musical entertainment, and Ron didn't. That is how this game is played. And like others have pointed out, this narrow second place win is probably the best of the opportunities we could have. If we got 1st, the media would treat it like they did CPAC, and complete dismiss the poll. So, time to quit whining about Bachmann, Randy Travis, and the Ames Straw Poll.
In 2007-2008, Ron's campaign ads were amateurish. Now they are very polished. Time to quit whining about the campaign ads.
The Daily Show clip from last night has probably been seen by 1 million people by now. Ron Paul's Facebook page keeps getting more likes.
People are waking up. THIS is our chance.
The time has come to put our boots to the ground. It is time to move away from internet activism, from winning online polls and filling up comments on news articles. It is time to get in our neighborhoods, and our precincts, and to talk to our neighbors, our co-workers, our families. It is time to talk to people about registering to vote, and why Ron Paul is the best candidate for THEM. Not why you like him, but why they should. Find a common area that they have with Ron, and work it from that angle. If they don't care what happens to the troops, don't go with the foreign policy angle. Maybe go with the economic. The number one key is "PERCEPTION IS EVERYTHING" and number 2 is "KNOW YOUR AUDIENCE."
It is time to max out, if you can, to the money bomb on August 20. We need to fill the campaign coffers, so they can continue to produce the excellent ads, and more, and diverse ones. We should give the campaign enough money they don't have to choose between a few states. We should be able to run a campaign in New Hampshire, Iowa, South Carolina, Nevada, Texas, California, and Florida all at once.
If you have maxed out, pledge to give to the RevPAC moneybomb in September (and then follow through).
The biggest thing is getting the slim jims from the campaign, and distributing them to targeted audiences.
Get your meetup groups going. In May, our meetup group here had about 12 people, now we are up in the 70's! Time to get in the action meeting likely GOP voters, and letting them know they should vote for Ron Paul in their primaries and caucuses!!!

LET'S GET TO WORK!!!!

"PERCEPTION IS EVERYTHING"
"KNOW YOUR AUDIENCE."

Show 100% respect.
Dress nice. Be polite.
Speak well. Don't argue.
Know when to shut up/leave.
Be friendly.
Talk to people, not at them.

Remember you are the face of Ron Paul. Respect that.

Get involved. The rest of this race is incredibly important.
The bar has been set, and if we are going to be a top candidate, we are going to have to finish in the top.
