Tim Pawlenty's New Hampshire Campaign Director Sarah Crawford Stewart is joining Jon Huntsman's team as New Hampshire senior adviser. It's a paid consultancy. She won't be on staff.
"Governor Huntsman is committed to winning the New Hampshire primary, and I look forward to helping him and his team do just that," Stewart said.
"I viewed Gov. Huntsman as somebody with exceptional governing experience. And I viewed him as someone who would be the strongest competitor against President Obama in a general election."
This is a really good get for Huntsman, as GOP activists and consultants I talk to have very high praise for Stewart's political skills.
