Over 28,000 free bumper stickers have been mailed out since July of 2011.

If each one is seen by at least 20 different people everyday, the number seen daily goes up to 560,000!

If curiosity gets at least 5,000 people to look up Ron Paul, which results in 500 new supporters, this project is making a huge difference!

Is there any way you could use bumper stickers with the new 2012 logo instead of a revamp of the failed 2008 McCain-esque logo? It's very important that we try to brand Ron Paul as fresh and new, and I fear that the 2008 logo with a new number works against that effort.

That said, I love this project.

These bumper stickers are being supplied by www.RonPaulProducts.com. The site is actually run by a RPF member, Curt (po14015). I don't know Curt personally, and I have absolutely no financial stake in his website, just to be clear. That being said, Curt's products and customer service have been extraordinary while providing the bumper stickers and Ron Paul lapel stickers that Jack (ForLibertyFight) has been mailing out.

In addition to the outstanding service, I've been ordering from Curt because the stickers (including magnetic ones) are much cheaper than those available from the official campaign store.

Last, and not insignificantly, purchases from the campaign store count as a political donation to the Ron Paul campaign. This muddies the water quite a bit when it comes to one person buying the materials but trying to get them sent to a second party who is mailing them out in turn to Ron Paul supporters. (Leave it to the FEC to booger that one up!)

But to address your basic question about the logo, I can only direct you to Curt at RonPaulProducts.com. I don't know if the new logo currently being used by the campaign is copyrighted, but I do know it doesn't seem to be available anywhere else, especially at the prices available at Curt's web store.

Article V, I hope this clarifies things a bit, and I hope I haven't come across as being grumpy or confrontational; I'm just trying to explain the circumstances behind the decision to distribute these particular stickers..... :)

The price of bumper stickers is dependent on volume. People buy the old 2008 design. And I know why. You can see it. The new design is hard to see from a distance or while moving.

I started RonPaulProducts.com in March, 2011. Long before many thought he was running. There was no design to use. So I used the design from 2008 because it was the one people have started to associate with Ron Paul, and people bought over 400,000 of the 2008 design.

And, yes I do not know if there is a copyright on the Campaign's images. I have actually gotten a lot of emails saying they like the old design, and it was one of the reason they were buying. I encourage everyone to let me know what they think.

I think most of this is a non-issue. The fact is that you can make your own signs and bumper stickers, and I think you could have the same effect. Where people need to be spending their energy is on their Precinct and in helping IA, NH, and SC. This is where in a Primary the most bang for the buck goes.

Of course the number one reason people buy from RonPaulProducts.com is the PRICE. Bumper stickers are as low as $.17 and start at just $.99 for one. These prices are basically Paypal fees, packaging, and a small percentage to protect from chargebacks/returns. I let you keep the profits and do what you want with it. I don't want a gimmick where I promise to donate a small percentage of profit so I could keep a bigger part of the profit.

I am always open to ideas. And have posted multiple times on many different sites for designs.

This isn't a "spray and pray" mass mailing in the hopes of winning new votes. This stuff is going to people who will actively put stickers on their bumpers and encourage friends and family to do the same.

This really is a great cause, everyone. And it's one of the biggest "bang for the buck" operations going on right now, IMHO. A few bucks' worth of stamps will help put Ron Paul stickers on several cars, and each and every one is a rolling advertisement for the Ron Paul campaign.

Jack (ForLibertyFight) has been diligently posting all receipts, too. Nobody is making so much as a cent off of this program. One hundred percent of anything you donate goes directly toward putting stickers onto bumpers and into the hands of supporters who will pass them out to family and friends.

Unfortunately, the donations have not been going up in proportion with the increased volume of orders.

Bumper stickers are a very cost effective way of advertising when you think about it. They are relatively inexpensive to distribute and can make people give Ron Paul a second look when they start seeing bumper stickers frequently. This could have a "viral" type of effect if it gets people to look into Ron Paul beyond the MSM. I am a firm believer that if people look at Ron Paul's platform for what it really is, not what the MSM says it is, there is a good chance they could convert to a Ron Paul supporter. It may not be an instant switch, but it may start the process of them seeing through the media fog surrounding the freedom message. If that happens, then they will start talking about Ron Paul to friends and family. They might even get a bumper sticker, starting the chain reaction type of effect.

Jack is putting in a lot of time and effort to send out these bumper stickers and help spread the liberty message. I would hate for the project to come to an end because it became too popular! If you all you can spare is just a couple of dollars, your donation would be tremendously appreciated. THIS, both this request and its unceremonious burial speak to PROBLEMS WITH THE RON PAUL FORUMS COMPONENT OF THE RON PAUL 2012 CAMPAIGN FOR THE PRESIDENCY.

[ASIDE TO AUDIENCE: Does anyone else's hands shake when they KNOW they are onto something, and cannot type fast enough to articulate dots as they connect? Kinda like someone's eyes widening and them sputtering 'Oh-oh-oh, AND...']

RAPID DISAPPEARANCE FROM VIEW of fresh ideas &/or pointed criticism, I have already mentioned several times and so have other PEOPLE OF AGE, so I defer to whatever Force causes that to happen. Uncle. I am SO done repeating myself to 20-Somethings who either

A.) Don't listen to a fucking word anyone outside their INEXPERIENCED choir says OR
B.) Mumble something on the order of 'YEAH, YEAH, YEAH, GOTCHA' and proceed as tho you hadn't bothered to compose paragraphs
b.) (Dissidents of Age are NOT the parental White Noise you have grown accustomed to blocking out, like elevator muzac with EARBUDS. Time is Money, as the many LIBERTINES skulking among LIBERTARIANS well know.)
C.) Spit something on the order of 'FUCK YOU' from their lofty position of NOT having yet trudged their way through commie-socialist-propaganda-claptrap of Higher Degrees, NOT having been entirely OUT THERE ON THEIR OWN Independent, NOT having yet assumed and dispatched the responsibilities of Parenthood nor the added-kicker complexities & challenges of Womanhood or Minority-ship, and NOT having yet sustained a knock-out punch. Mike Tyson: "Everyone has a plan, 'til they get hit in the face."

Instead, in the spirit of continuing to run the gauntlet for Principles & Causes bigger than any of our puny selves, I bump the thread because it speaks to the RECYCLING someone-I-don't-recall-who-sorry lately mentioned.

RECYCLING is all the rage on the Left, as you know.

RECYCLING segues (inexplicably pronounced SEGWAY, the founder of which ironically died in a Segway accident. THAT is irony, but I digress) to a couple of other points that I believe are important but, y'know what? Many, many, many are the times I spent so much TIME=MONEY composing unwelcome paragraphs that, when I press (why do we say HIT, I wonder) the Submit key, the post disappears and a YOU ARE NOT LOGGED IN screen appears. Hitting the BACK key restores the page, not the composition. This is not INSULTING, but GALLING...rather, insulting to ME. "Many, many, many times" speaks to my not LEARNING LESSONS...fer instance, COMMAND COPY when no one knows better than ME that long I'VE been "inactively" typing long enough to have logged out by default.

Spontaneous disappearance of composed thought, POOF, like THAT, pisses me off enough when the culprit is agenda-based Censorship that could not POSSIBLY be perpetrated but for idiosyncratic power-based advantages. I don't know that it pisses me off MORE when it's my fault, but it ADDS to my Righteous Anger...I quote, "the dubious luxury of normal men, but for alcoholics these things are poison."

I am a WEALTH of hard-earned KNOWLEDGE about Alcoholics 'n Addicts. Ask around the Recovery Circuit, they'll tell you:

"...But the ex-problem drinker who has found this solution, who is properly armed with facts about himself, who is properly armed with facts about himself, can generally win the entire confidence of another alcoholic in a few hours. Until such an understanding is reached, little or nothing can be accomplished."*

Anyone who sez NATION OF ADDICTS does not apply to America is Uninformed, or in Denial, or INVESTED.

Big tent, small tent...hmmm, lemme think. SMALL. if it's a Sanctuary. HUGE, if it's a presidential election campaign. As I see it, something on the order of a POPULAR LANDSLIDE is required to beat the rigged odds. I should think no one knows better than Ron Paul Supporters, how wildly numbers can fluctuate without the Public batting an eye.

In seeking to connect with A MAN WHO MAKES THINGS HAPPEN, I do not require that HE does not drink. Some "Recovering Alcoholics" CANNOT hang with someone who drinks. That's not my story. But the Good Guy Bad Ass I seek would SELDOM drink, more than a meal-accompanying beer or two-not-to-say-six because ALCOHOL DULLS ALL SENSES EXCEPT EMOTIONALITY, IT SLOWS THE REFLEXES, AND IT IMPAIRS MOTOR SKILLS.

The day my or anyone else's immediate physical survival depends on MY reflexes and motor skills, I figger the game's over...therefore it's fine and dandy for me to smoke pot whenever I please and circumstances permit. Makes a certain self-interested sense, yes?
