thx

"Daily Show" host Jon Stewart asked that question on his show Monday night and in doing so he sparked a discussion among the media hordes that has produced more than a few mea culpas and could perhaps – perhaps – lead to more coverage of the libertarian Texas congressmen in the future.

yeah...perhaps.

Huge boost imo. I posted this video to facebook and I have people who are apethetic resposting it. That never happens!

Hell yes, it did. In two major ways:

1. It enable some really great coverage for Ron Paul
2. More importantly, it used to be cool for media companies to ignore Ron Paul. After this piece on Stewart's show, ignoring Ron is becoming uncool.

Of course, the media is still going to be motivated to ignore Ron Paul, but now they know that people are very aware of it, AND that it's so noticeable that people like John Stewart will call them out for doing it.

all lower level media than the attention Bachmann got for getting 152 more votes in conjunction with Randy Travis, but definitely Stewart was a boost. It is sad when the best journalist we have is a comic.

Anyone saying Ron Paul is unelectable is a lying sack of cow manure. I live in a town that is totally disconnected from reality. It's not a quiet town, but not prominent either, and I've seen Ron Paul yard signs, and bumper stickers, and even painted on some guy's car. I can't believe this is happening =D

Major media producers were VERY embarrassed by Jon Stewart calling them out which is why they have been trying to fall all over themselves to fix this in the last 24-48 hours.

What's amazing is, they all apparently watch the Daily Show. I had NO idea Jon had this much of an effect on the MSM, but apparently he is more influential than ANYONE has realized!

My wife is from the former USSR. She told me: When only a comedian can tell the truth, you know you´re living in a tyranny.
