I watched that Jon Stewart's clip from last night show at least 5 times today. And it isn't even particulary short clip, as you know. Is that normal? And every time I watched it, I have been more excited, and I simply couldn't believe how good it is, how great it is, how fucking awesome it is!!! My impresion is that it is something you just can not buy with money, no matter how much you have.

And it is not that it's just throughly true, honest, funny and inspiring comedy piece - I think it is tremendously influential as well, and it would pretty much reshape the way MSM treats RP later in the campaign. Actually, Jon Stewart is pretty influential. Let me just remind you how his criticism of CNN's Crossfire led to shutdown of that show almost immediately. (Unfortunately, I must say, because I like Tucker Carlson very much, and he is doing great job at The Daily Caller to promote RP and to call out other candidates). Or how much trouble he caused to CNBC's Mad Money author Jim Cramer for his silly and biased financial predictions. Actually , he is one of the most influential people in media, and one capable to almost single handedly reshape media stance on an issue. Right now we can see his influence at best - literally overnight Ron Paul went from being pariah to hot issue. They are all discussing if RP was underrated, if he was ignored, they compare him to other candidates, etc. Right now, having Ron Paul on air, or talking about him is in, it's cool, and somehow Ron Paul gets Robin Hood image, which is not bad at all, if you ask me.

Actually, yesterday when we all here were so pissed and demoralised with media bloc out , I wanted to post thread and express my hope that Stewart or Colbert would at least make some jokes about Bachmann's "huge" victory at Ames, or call out Fox for biased reporting on it. But as I praised Bill Maher few days ago for something I see as his support for Ron Paul, and I also mentioned Jon Stewart as honest and smart man - even if left liberal - during argument about that with some members here, I got cold and hostile reaction from quite a number of members , and I was accused of spreading socialist propaganda on RPF, so I decided against it. So, I think it should be our lesson not to dismiss anybody's support, either it is from right or from left, because Ron Paul will certainly need every and each voice of support in this battle.

Edit Added some breaks... :-)

Guitarzan is right - I could not read your whole post.

If you were wondering if repeated viewing of the Jon Stewie flick means there's something wrong with you, I'd have to say no.

As long as you kept your views under 10 times, you should be ok. I watched it 2 or 3 times my self - it was worth multiple views.

Man, there is seriously something wrong with you...;):D

I hear ya with the 'support' stuff.

I've taken to the approach: "Use them, just as they use us/Paul/whatever"

The resistance one may encounter on these forums concerning fair-weather friends of liberty is only because none here want any to be fooled again.

Compare that to any of the sheeple's forums where more emphasis is on the 'herd' than the individual.

I'll take this RPF's lot of cranky bastards over any other forum any day.

I'll be watching Stewart's clip many, many, many more times too.:)

you have to watch it multiple times just to fill the void left by the bias media .

Yup. Still good...... Best line: "If all of Jon Huntsman's supporters met at the same Ames, Iowa Quizno's, the fire marshall would say, 'yeah, that's fine. No problem.'" LOL

Well, I found at least something that is wrong with me. And it have nothing to do with Jon Stewart's show. And have everything to do with that infamous picture of Michelle Bachmann eating corndog that was my avatar until I received infraction for it... :-(

It was so good that I friended him on facebook and left a comment on the website. This is one of the best pieces I have seen. Humor can be powerful when used to make a point and he pulled out all the stops.

I only watched it one time when it aired and 4 times on the internet. I showed it to my daughter so that does not count. I promise I wont watch it again in the next 10 to 11 hours. brb............................................
Ok so I just watched it again to make sure there was nothing I missed and I did notice one thing, and that was John Stewart fumble his words when he said like or dislike. But other than verifying that one thing, im not going to watch it again. Wait did he say he was going to have Ron on his show at the end?.........................
Ok I just watched it again to check and make sure, but unfortunately he did not say if Ron would be a guest.
Ok that's it, im not going to watch it any more today.

Yup, me too. Its just a really refreshing thing to hear and oddly I think there are more people that respect/listen to Jon Stewart for news/reporting than the MSM. So its a really big boost for us imo.
