As much as ordinary people are using online teleconferencing I really don't think many of them are going to be 'put off' by the lack of perfection of the video feed, indeed it shows that Ron Paul isn't obsessive about his 'image' like the others. Most normal people aren't as obsessed about their image either, and too much of a scripted image can imply deception.

Unlike the others, Ron Paul isn't selling himself, He's selling ideas.

Now Rand Paul almost scares me sometimes because he's so smooth and polished, I keep looking for the deception behind the facade.

Fortunately for me I believe that Rand Paul is sincere, and at least he comes from good stock.

I think his argument needs to be rephrased. It's not that "Iran should be allowed to have nukes" or "They aren't even close to getting one" but more along the lines of "who are we to say they can't have one?" If the UN decided that the US shouldn't have nuclear weapons or even nuclear power, would we dismantle all of them?

He also needs to point out that besides Israel having nukes, they also didn't sign the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty like almost everyone else in the world has. In addition, the US has a law which forbids giving aid to nations with non-authorized nuclear arsenals which we ignore when it comes to Israel.

Not trying to come down on Israel, just pointing out the hypocrisy.

But Ron has a genuined tanned, almost leathered lean look. There was tons of photography at Ames. And this washed him out, distorted his image from the fisheyed lens and made him look older than he is.

Were he not in a campaign where supporters need good video to put together it wouldn't bother me as much. But note that one of the earliest complaints above was from Avaroth, who needs HD video, and who made this in the last campaign (1.7 million views before it was resmastered)
