Used to be that no one could win the Electoral College vote if you didn't win California.
That was shattered in 2000...
There are loads of other examples of these "rules of thumb" out there for the Electoral College... I can't seem to find them right now, darn it...
Anyway, my point here is that the youth vote has been historically absent on election day, and I think that so long as people in their own states constantly remind each other of when election day is in that state (repetition is key to memorization) then we should be able to blow this old paradigm out of the water... Argh, matey. ;)
