Ron Paul doesn't really play the politics game. He tends to go where he's invited, and he speaks his mind in the same way no matter who invites him. For good or bad, that's how he rolls the dice.

No, no... This may be excellent. He'll get a chance to explain his views. That doesn't happen too often. Paul loks great when it's one on one and face to face. (I hope he's face to face and not remote)

Hopefully Paul will make a plea for funds to fight the media blackout! He's usually too humble to ask, but if he does, it could make a big impact.

He might mention the money bomb, but I doubt he'll make a plea for funds per se.

Yeah he's going to waste his time, not explaining, but rather constantly defending his views. They're probably going to bring back the Racist Newsletter controversy or whatever allegations they've conjured up since then. This has potential to hurt him. Believe me, people want to stop his rise. They did this in '08 and they will do it again. Why in the world would you want to do a one on one interview with a tabloid schmuck while running for President?

Morgan doesn't hold a candle to Paul, he walks into stuff like that knowing he will destroy them.

Its always a good thing to not tell friends and family about Ron Paul's appearances until they are on youtube. They may turn out to be hit pieces.

The more I think about it, this could be CNN's way of apologizing for the Candy Crowley incident, which may have resulted in tons of comments and calls to their office. My roommate, who is not involved in politics, told me that his FB is flooded with the video of Candy Crowley. Whoever made that basically turned the entire election for EVERYBODY into We The People via Ron Paul vs. The Establishment and Mainstream. Brilliance.

I have no doubt that the guy below would shred Piers Morgan like corn flakes. I hope Ron is 'on' tonight.

I hope Ron Paul says, "if Pawlenty who has consistently polled lower then me for months, took 2nd in the straw poll, by a margin of only 152 votes, he wouldn't have exited the race, and the media would have called him the comeback kid, and pumped up the results and analyzed what happen and everything." but since it was Ron Paul, It's over for everyone else, and it's now Bachmann-Perry-Romney. McCain was out of money, failed in the straw poll, and he was brought back to life by the media in Oct., This is a "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON AROUND HERE!" Moment for Ron Paul!

Just watched this. Jesse didn't do too well. He gets caught up debating Conjecture and Forensic evidence involving conspiracies. Whether or not he's right, it's too easy to counter such arguments.

All Ron needs to do to make his case and not get cornered make sure everything is centred around the argument from morality.

They could have easily sent a camera to interview him. Don't tell me there aren't CNN crews wherever he is

Looks like his DC home office, way to remote to send out a cameraman.

Ron really does better in this format than he does in the debates. It would be nice if they could have a debate where they just sit around a table and talk.

Sanford is really a deep guy. And did I mention that he supports defense cuts?

If you were involved in the debt-ceiling debates, what government programs would you get rid of?

I’m hammering nails these days, so I’m not really current on this stuff, but the ethanol-subsidy program costs $6 billion a year, and the C.B.O. has said that our ethanol use accounts for like a 10 to 15 percent increase in world food prices, it increases the cost of welfare, lessens our foreign aid to Africa, and ethanol clogs car engines. They’re also talking about putting $14.5 billion for a new expeditionary fighting vehicle for the Marines. The last large-scale amphibious landing the Marines pulled off was in Inchon in 1950 in the Korean peninsula. Do we really need a new amphibious landing craft for the Marines?

Many Congressional Republicans have ruled cuts in defense spending to be off limits.

That’s a mistake. You can’t look at a base-line defense budget that has gone from essentially about $300 billion 10 years ago to in essence double that today and say that there isn’t excess in there. It goes back to the simple principles the farmworker guys I’ve been dealing with practice, which is if you don’t have the money, you ain’t buying it. And that should extend to wars, to foreign involvement, to programs. I don’t think anything should be off the table.

Yes, apparently all the other candidates should just drop out since the media has annointed Bachmann, Perry, and Romney as the top three.

Funny, I thought the straw poll just passed and there's...ohhh.....49 other states to win. The ECONOMY is what this nation cares about right now. Stop pandering to the fundies all the damn time and start pandering to the other 309,000,000 people.
