As some of you may recollect, I avoid TV like the plague I feel it is. But I'm in NJ at the moment on some business, staying with Mom and so TV becomes part of the existence for a few days. Last night, WPIX news ran an editorial by some guy named simply "Lionel" ( lionelmedia.com (http://lionelmedia.com/) ). He went on a restrained rant about liberty, starting with the question of what would the Framers have thought of all this video surveillance. He went on about limitation of government and police power and how the Framers feared government above all other things. I was utterly surprised to see such opinions being aired in MSM, particularly in so liberal a locus as New York City.
The site has a videos section, but last night's has yet to be posted.
Anyone else ever hear of him? Know anything about him?

On other fronts: Same news outlet for two evenings in a row made a big stink about Michelle "Mad Eyes" Bachmann's straw poll win, giving her a significant sound bite. RP was mentioned as having taken second place with nearly as many votes and then they rapidly went on to address Pawlenty's mercifully welcomed withdrawal. MSM are doing their damnedest to ignore Ron. They cannot very credibly do so completely when he is basically tying for first, so they absolutely minimize mention... just enough to say that he was covered and ask what the hell are we complaining about.
