Have there been any Q&As with Ron Paul about a theoretical sign vs veto of a bill.

For example, if somehow magically that both the House and Senate put a bill on Ron Paul's desk to completely wipe out Social Security, what would he do?

I would say he would veto it unless it came with a way to transition people out for those who lived their lives assuming there would be Social Security.

A lot of times people say Ron Paul is too extreme and forget to realize that President Paul can only act on things Congress brings up. And while Dr. Paul is very principled, he is not heartless.

I haven't found much other than in at least one Q&A, someone asked specifically about a particular bill dealing with satellites, and he said he wasn't familiar with the bill, but if it didn't affect X, Y, Z, he would probably be for it.

And with that clip of Catherine: http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?309824-The-lastest-and-most-shameful-attack-on-Ron

She points out Ron Paul has not been talking like he were president. Sure, we know his ideas and how he behaved as a Congressman, but how will he act as President?

We should probably make a list of those "as President Ron Paul would.."

- bring home all the troops because as commander-in-chief, he has final say on where they are
- would veto any tax increase just as he voted against every one
- would have vetoed the Patriot Act and its extension
- will veto any bill sponsored by corporations and force them to work impossibly hard to pay-off not just 50% of Congress but 2/3 of them
