20B in projects in pipeline right now, want to expand to 30B and massively expand more after 5 years. (like hundreds of Billions)
12B short on gas tax revenues for the 20B number
would create thousands of jobs
want to create toll roads to rural areas and high speed rail
know these will loose money/be underutilized, so follow British model and give to private companies to operate and keep 100% or revenues.
taxpayer would be on the hook for construction and maintenance costs forever.

So we get to pay for it to be made, get to pay for it to be maintained and pay to use it, while some private company profits from it while very few will use it. Kind of sounds like all those small airports we are subsidizing - the ones with an average of 0.7 passengers per flight, or Amtrak for that matter. I think that's called public/private partnership - you know fascism!

Oh, and then there is eminent domain...

But hay - Congress just got the green light to piss away 2.4T they don't have, so SPEND!, SPEND!, SPEND!

Sounds like our government!
