You can't use a bot on facebook since you have to have a valid account to vote exactly once. All that means is that the poll was spread to many more RP followers than others. Nothing to be concerned about.

* It's completely legitimate, in terms of polling anyone on facebook. You can click the link next to RP and see all 1000 people who voted for him.
* It's an online poll. We have enough people that care to win all online polls.
* You posted this. What did you think was going to happen?

It went from 87 to 1,237 I'm sorry but someone hacked it somehow. not that many people have viewed this thread and just 2 hours ago it was still under 100.
It's obvious it was hacked somehow.
I definitely didn't think 1,000 people would vote in it. It looks totally illegitimate - sorry I live in the real world.

I've been watching it since you posted the poll. It's been posted here and all around facebook. It did not go from 87 to 1237, it went from 87 to 116, to 167, to 300, 500, etc... These things spread organically and lots of RP supporters voted. I realize you have good intentions and you're seeing this from the perspective of the news agency, most likely, but as someone who is technically literate, it was not "hacked", it was spread. Big difference.
