Yeah, but we really shouldn't do it. I don't know if it is as bad as the graffiti in Oregon, but it makes people think of us as vandals.

I saw the one outside of Eugene off the highway on the 'wall' on our mainland jaunt. Friggin' ugly.

I was hoping to see signs on that trip, not destruction of property.:mad:

This is a privately owned sign, and the article suggests the contractors who own it may have inserted the message, while preserving the Bridge Washing notification. The DOT signs are easily hackable, I would assume a privately owned one would have better security, or at least have the default password changed.
Odds are this is not a hack, but a show of support, and I think it's awesome if it is.

I used to do a bit of war driving, I would not say it was more secure, most people seem to leave their clocks unset, passwords default (now that routers come with random passwords for the most part, it is getting better), and wifi open and unlocked.

Wow - those signs can be changed with the wifi password? I would have thought a person would need to at least get out of the car to tamper with one of those signs.
