I mention the fact we have a local meetup group in the email and people people have been joining. It's awesome!

Awesome. That's a great suggestion.

Another good place to recruit people is on MySpace. Some of the most active people in my Meetup group are college-age students that I found via MySpace.

Ron is all over craigslist, to the point that the typical craigslist users are getting as irritated as the digg guys.
