Take the economic approach. We can't afford to continue a foreign policy where we police the world...

odds are he/she is so brainwashed they would die before voting for Ron Paul - probably best to move on. It does no good talking to a brick wall

Tell him to leave the country, live a place where people are being bombed. And then come back and tell us that US actions don't incite hatred.

Sure. Tell him expecting to maintain an empire paid for by borrowing and benefitting only international corporations who take the resources, offshore the jobs and pay no taxes is unrealistic as hell. Then ask him how long (assuming we don't trash the dollar completely) it'll take his progeny to pay for this crap.

Here's a good video I saw on another thread, that explains his stance on Iran.

Is Ron Paul serious? Blowback in 1979 from a 1953 coup?

Tell him we had it for about 150 years. That Ron believes in defense just not paying for all the wars everywhere in the world. Point out that in Europe they can retire on pensions 10 to 15 years earlier than social security kicks in here because they don't have the cost for military that we have and that it is time for them to stop freeloading and time for our politicians to stop letting them freeload.

Most donations from military than all other candidates combined. The troops agree with him.

All very good ideas, thanks...I think the economic approach will work best. Historic accuracies are lost on a lot of people...Unfortunately, I can't get her to specify what is so unrealistic..."it just is"...???!!!
