Not race baiting here, but seriously, why is saying that politically acceptable? If I were to go on MSNBC and say, for example, that the SPLC was made up of a bunch of racist black people with no respect for the constitution, I would be crucified. So why is it OK if you're going to say that about conservatives and Caucasians?

It's a product of one group of people taking ownership of the claim of racism.

Racism seems to be brought on by ignorance to a certain extent, and Meredith Whitney's racist comment is no exception to that.
